Leadership and Specialist Experience
Dean Crozier
Managing Director
Dean is the founder and Managing Director of HPS Capital Partners. He brings more than 15 years of experience advising healthcare operators, investors and capital providers on businesses, property, investment and project delivery.
His work spans business acquisitions, property transactions, development and funding structures. He connects these elements with the operator’s commercial objectives and practical requirements.
Dean also brings extensive property development and construction experience, supporting the assessment and delivery of healthcare premises.
He holds a Master of Construction Project Management from the University of New South Wales, with a specialisation in infrastructure and finance.
Alison Pennington
Senior Specialist – Healthcare
Alison brings more than 30 years of professional experience across accounting, business advisory and executive leadership, including nearly two decades in senior healthcare roles.
Her experience includes responsibility for more than 20 hospitals and specialist medical practices, and leading an ophthalmology group that includes a day hospital, research foundation, and specialist practices.
Alison contributes to business assessment, operational performance, governance and acquisition planning. She also works with owners to strengthen business performance and prepare for a transaction.
She holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) from the University of Newcastle.
Courtney Martin
National Research Manager
Courtney brings more than 20 years of property research and market-analysis experience, including more than 12 years specialising in healthcare property.
Her work covers demographics, population growth, patient demand, catchments and local property markets. This helps operators assess locations, understand demand and test the assumptions behind a purchase, development or expansion.
Courtney previously held research roles with Stockland and Landmark White.
She holds a Bachelor of Property Economics from the University of Technology Sydney.
Paul Daly
Senior Specialist – Lending & Credit
Paul brings more than 35 years of banking and finance experience, including senior credit and relationship-management roles.
His healthcare experience spans specialist medical services, diagnostic imaging, aged care, hospitals and specialist practices. Most recently, he was a Credit Director within NAB’s specialised credit team covering healthcare, government and education.
Paul helps assess funding requirements, repayment capacity and financial risk. His lender’s perspective supports credible acquisition, growth and refinancing plans.
He holds a master’s degree in banking.
Working Alongside You and Your Advisers
We agree our scope, responsibilities, fees and reporting arrangements before work begins.
We work with your accountant, solicitor and finance provider, and can introduce finance brokers or work with your existing broker. We coordinate additional project, technical, and operational specialists as required.
Where HPSCP invests, we agree and document the capital contribution, ownership, decision-making, and intended exit arrangements.

Our role can include managing business searches and acquisitions, coordinating property development and providing ongoing business management.
We stay involved within the agreed scope, monitor progress and help address issues as they arise, while keeping you involved in the decisions that matter.
