About HPSCP — Lenders & Special Situations
Property, construction and credit experience. Applied to lender decisions.
HPS Capital Partners supports lenders managing complex property, development and business exposures.
We bring together practical development and construction experience, lending and credit insight, business advisory and property research. This helps lenders understand the position, assess the available options and carry an agreed strategy through to capital realisation.
Experience Through Changing Markets
Our team’s experience spans property downturns, constrained credit, rising construction costs, builder failure and underperforming businesses.
We understand that a recovery strategy must work commercially and practically. Asset value, outstanding works, funding requirements, borrower circumstances and the time needed to execute all influence the outcome.

Specialist Support Around the Exposure
We work alongside the lender’s internal team and appointed legal, valuation, insolvency and technical advisers.
Where an assignment requires additional expertise, we coordinate the relevant specialists, with clear responsibilities and reporting arrangements.
Clear Responsibilities. Practical Involvement.
We agree our scope, fees, and reporting arrangements before work begins.
We identify the decisions requiring lender approval, coordinate the agreed actions and report on progress, expenditure and issues affecting recovery.
The lender retains commercial control, supported by a team that connects assessment with delivery.
